Sienna Park Neighborhood - Do You Love Your Neighborhood?

I'm starting this post to find out what you have to say about your neighborhood.
I think we would all love to know how everyone feels about living in this neighborhood
as this might help to "Keep Sienna Park Beautiful".
Why do you love it? or Do you?
All suggestions and comments are Welcome!

Sienna Park Neighborhood - Park / Playground

First, I want to thank all the persons involved in the clean up of the community park! It was in much need of tender, love, and care with all the profanity and graffiti on the playground equipment and sidewalks. I noticed the sign with all the rules posted on the fence...Yeah!  I guess it's up to us now to do our best and make sure everyone is following these rules. I understand  that we have had too many people from surrounding subdivisions coming into our park by either climbing the fence, or going under the fence, and then opening the gate from the inside to let everyone else in. We have also had a problem with people trying to jam the lock so the door stays open all the time. Ya, this is not acceptable! I also believe we should keep the gate door closed at all times because propping the doors with large rocks or such makes it easier for unauthorized people to just walk in and out as they please. I would not suggest you give out the Code to anyone who claims they live in Sienna Park because anyone can say that just to gain access, instead advice them to call their HOA for the code. I'm sure they will be happy to mail it to them. Only Sienna Park Residents should be using the playground.
Oh ya, before I forget, I want to mention that there are alot of homes becoming available for rent and these new residents dont have the gate code (I think). So, if there are any Homeowners who are renting out their homes and is reading this, please make sure your tenants are aware of  the gate code and playground rules.
I think this will also help cut down on some of the issues we are having.

**Let us keep the park clean by taking your trash with you since there are no trash cans.**

Sienna Park Neighborhood - Graffiti

"If you want something done right, You have to do it yourself"

If you see graffiti on your mailboxes, street light poles, or on your fence, call the police to make a report of the crime, and then clean it up right away! Graffiti can be an eyesore to any community, so it's up to us to work fast to get rid of it. Graffiti sends a message that the community is not concerned about the appearance of its neighborhood. We can take control of our neighborhood by quickly removing graffiti. Prompt removal reduces the chance of graffiti reappearing and helps maintain a safe, secure, and attractive environment.
You can also report graffiti to your HOA (ProComm), but there is no gaurantee how long it will take, or even if the issue will be resolved going this route. That is why- I say, why wait? Why take the chance to see if someone else is going to clean it? Why not just clean it ourselves? That's right. "If you want something done right; You have to do it yourself", and there is nothing wrong with that!
If you want to become a Volunteer to "Clean Up Graffiti" contact your HOA- Procomm by going to their website http://www.procomm-mgmt.com/  or by calling them at 210-545-1888.

**Let's do all that we can to keep our community beautiful and free of graffiti!

Sienna Park Neighborhood - Community

Please, if you see anyone suspicious, if you see anyone destroying property, if you see anyone doing anything they are not supposed to, please report them right away! Call the police! We need to send a message to these people that we are no longer going to sit back and watch our community go to waste. We need to let the people who are coming in to our community know that we are serious about taking care of our community, our homes, and our park.
